Ollie and Donald King have been together for 68 years and their granddaughter was certain that they deserved a special celebration.
Ashley Owen arranged for her grandparents to take part in a photo shoot that celebrates their love. She called on photographer, Paige Franklin to help make this dream a possibility.
The photo shoot took place on the couple’s farm in Crab Orchard, Kentucky and Ashley wanted the photos to serve as a keepsake so they can always remember how much they cherished each other.
24-year-old Ashley said: “I’m obsessed with them and I think they’re super adorable, even though I’m biased. I really did it just for myself because I’m obsessed with them and I thought it would be great.”
Paige also felt the love from this couple. “He kept telling me how much he loved her and how God blessed them with 68 years,” the photographer said in an interview. “He told me in all their 68 years together they’ve never spent one full day or night apart. That was so touching to me. I kept thinking, ‘That is the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard.’”
87-year-old Donald King has been a pastor for 47 years while his wife, 83, was a quiltmaker for 30.

Paige posted the photos on Facebook and they have gone hugely viral since. It’s no surprise as the couple looked so adorable and lovely together.
