Daily Mail wrote about their joint appearance at the Marchesa show during 2105 New York Fashion Week in which the mother-duo daughter stunned the audience by looking exactly similar.
In the event, Midler flaunted her rocker chic outfit designed by Marchesa, and further sported a gem-studded headband upon her slicked back hair while pointy black heels.
Meanwhile, her daughter stunned in a shiny metallic silver dress with scalloped detailing around the neckline. She accessorized herself with ankle-strapped heels to complete her fashion statement.
According to Daily Mail, Sophie is a Yale University graduate who made her debut in the show business in 1990 with a debut in her mother’s music video, From A Distance.
Midler is definitely a proud mother who is married to Sophie’s father, artist Martin von Haselberg, since 1984. Three decades on, the beautiful couple is still happily married.
Speaking about her longstanding relationship, Midler told People that the secret to their strong and lasting relationship is giving each other «a lot of lead» and «a lot of room,» and «not being in each other’s face all the time.»

Midler also revealed «listening» as another important aspect of a longstanding relationship. «Listening is very hard … compromise is the hardest of all,» she stated.
This past June, Sophie landed her major roles in widely acclaimed shows. She starred in House of Cards as the Ohio governor’s chief of staff. She also landed a role in Wizard of Lies as Bernie Madoff’s lawyer.
Sophie told In Style about some of the lessons that she had taken from her talented mother. “Honestly, I think it’s the lesson that yes, sometimes a project is based on passion and creativity and artistry, but sometimes, a job is just a job,” she said.
