Your wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. You are surrounded by everyone you love most, you exchange vows with your significant other and then you throw a party that goes well into the night. Of course, cake is definitely involved and it is often one of the major focal points at a wedding reception.
Weddings also take a lot of planning and this can certainly be stressful. Hopefully, the stress that comes with the planning and the anxiety people can feel before a wedding is what caused the groom to act the way he did.
A video was posted on Reddit and it shows the bride feeding her groom a bite of wedding cake while teasing him. However, while most newlyweds seem to love this part of the reception, the groom in this instance was less than amused. The bride faked him out twice and he did not appear to enjoy this. You can see him aggressively slam the fork from her hand. This is probably not the best way to start a marriage and it certainly left those in attendance on edge.
The caption for the video sums up the thoughts of those who viewed it. It says that she accidentally married the wrong guy. Of course, no one really knows if something was happening in the groom’s life to make him react in such a hostile manner. Maybe he just really loves cake and is not a fan of anyone who steps in between him and a decadent treat. The video surely has the internet talking and there were some people who defended him, but mostly they were fellow cake lovers who said they too would be upset if they had to wait for a bite.
The worst part of the video has to be the bride’s reaction after he slams the fork down. She looks down and has a very awkward and defeated look on her face. Maybe she was momentarily agreeing with the caption that was placed on the video. When you look at the other people who can be seen on the video, they look just as uncomfortable and awkward as the bride. Many people just go to pouring some drinks since this appears to be the best thing to do in this type of situation.
No one knows what was going through the groom’s mind when he took the action that he did. Maybe cake is something that he really loves and does not want to be separated from. This is certainly understandable. At this point, anyone who does not know the couple can only speculate based on what they can see in the vide. It certainly stirred up a lot of conversation on the internet. One thing is for certain, everyone at that wedding is sure to think about this moment every time they see a cake or start to talk about one because this moment is unforgettable.
