Country Teen Opens His Mouth To Sing, Then Judges Say They’ve Never Heard A Voice So Deep

bez-imeni-1

I love watching singing competitions and hearing all the different kinds of voices people have. Like the judges, I’m always taken by surprise just when I think I’ve heard it all. There’s nothing more pleasant than hearing something totally new and unexpected from a contestant!

On American Idol, judges were knocked off their feet when a Georgia teen walked onto the set and opened his mouth to sing. Josiah Siska, 17 years old, looks like just a regular country boy from Georgia. He happens to love Johnny Cash’s music, and he has more in common with the famed singer than meets the eye.

With just a guitar, he started performing Cash’s hit, “Riders in the Sky.”

The judges were instantly captivated by the teen’s deep, strong voice. His is even deeper than his idol’s!

They weren’t just stunned by the teen’s voice, but totally transported out of the room. They started imagining scenarios involving horses. Harry Connick Jr. even got up and provided some background noises to accompany the soulful tune. Each one of the judges agreed that they had never heard a voice as deep as Josiah’s.

Did you love this young man’s voice? Do you think he’s going to make it big as a singer? Let us know in the comments!
