When you think of David Beckham, what comes to mind?
I imagine most of us would think of soccer or the movie Bend It Like Beckham, but the former athlete is also quite the family man.
David has been married to Victoria Beckham — better known as Posh Spice of The Spice Girls — since 1999.
Together, the British power couple have four children: Brooklyn, age 18; Romeo, 14; Cruz, 12; and Harper, 6.
Harper is not only the youngest Beckham baby, she’s also the only girl of the bunch. And it’s clear she holds a special place in her dad’s heart, just like all of her siblings.
In fact, Harper’s full name is Harper Seven Beckham. Her unusual middle name is an ode to David’s soccer career. He always wore number 7.
David and Victoria (or Posh and Becks, if you’d rather) love to post their kids on Instagram. Recently, David posted the most adorable surprise for Harper online — one that was an entire week in the making.

Being a soccer star and total heartthrob, David Beckham is a busy man. But as his Instagram shows, he always makes time for his family. His bond with Harper, his only daughter, is adorable.
David and Harper are seen together pretty often. Even though she’s only 6, they seem like the best of friends.
Even at such a young age, Harper is a little fashionista. Like lots of little girls, she loves to play dress-up in her mom’s clothes. Lucky for Harper, her mom just happens to be a world-famous fashion designer. That’s one closet I would love to raid, personally.
Despite their extraordinary surroundings, David and Victoria keep their children grounded. Harper may have the best dress-up closet in the world but, deep down, she’s just like any other 6-year-old girl. Harper loves playing, ballet, riding her bike, drawing pictures for her mom, and Legos.
About a week ago, Harper set her heart on a Lego replica of Disney’s famous castle. According to David, the castle is made up of 4,000 separate Lego pieces and had a 490-page instruction booklet. That’s a bit too complicated for a 6-year-old, so the doting dad sat down to help her out.
It took David an entire week to finish building the huge castle. He posted the moment he completed the build to Instagram — at 1 in the morning. David had no complaints about staying up all night to finish the castle; he says he wanted his daughter to “have a nice surprise in the morning.”
What a sweet surprise! I’m sure Harper will be so excited when she wakes up in the morning — I know I would be.
