Disabled Man Finds Antique Treasure In His House, Becomes Millionaire

bez-imeni-1

Loren Krytzer, who had lost his leg in an accident, was living off a disability check that barely covered his family’s needs. He knew he had a family heirloom in his house – an old First Phase Chief’s Navajo blanket made in early 19th century – but never thought it was worth all that much. Until he watched an episode of PBS’ Antiques Roadshow where the owner of a similar blanket found out it cost about half a million dollars!

Inspired by the show, Logan did some research and finally decided to contact John Moran Auctioneers for an appraisal. Even though he knew the price of the other blanket, he was hoping to receive $15,000 at most – just enough to fix his house and his car. Then Loran heard what the blanket was really worth, and it turned his entire world upside down…
