You might think that all First Ladies do is attend high-profile political events, do some charity work and stand by their husbands (looking pretty at all times, of course) to show their strong support at every public appearance.
Well, you are wrong! The truth is, depending on the needs and laws of a country, the First Lady is expected to do a lot of different work, and unfortunately for them, most of it is behind the scenes, away from the public eye.
While they may not speak a lot about the work they do, they do have to make sure that their public image is well maintained. And this does not just mean the way they dress, but it’s also important how they carry themselves in front of others.
We can all safely agree that the First Ladies across the globe are beautiful women, whether they are attending a high-profile event, or visiting victims of a natural disaster. But we can’t seem to make up our minds on who would win the title of the Most Beautiful First Lady of the world. Along with their stunning looks, their notable personality adds to their features. Here are some possible candidates for the title.

Melania Trump is the current First Lady of the United States of America. Melania started her career as a model and has posed for a number of magazines. During her modeling career, Melania also did a racy photoshoot for GQ magazine. She first started modeling at the age of five and was doing a number of commercials at the age of sixteen.

Things changed when at the age of eighteen she signed a contract with a modeling agency in Milan, Italy. It was during one of the after party of the shows in 1997 that Melania met Donald Trump.
They soon started dating and got engaged in 2004. They got married in 2005 and have been together since then. She has accompanied Donald Trump in various campaigns and the two attend every public event together.

Mehriban Aliyeva is the Vice-President and First Lady of Azerbaijan. She is married to Ilham Aliyev, who has been the president of the country since 2003. Mehriban comes from a political family and was always interested in politics. She is also a qualified physician and has attended the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy.

In 2005, Mehriban decided to run for parliament herself and was later elected to the National Assembly of Azerbaijan. Mehriban married Ilham Aliyev in 1983. Mehriban has helped rebuild the country along with her husband and is also head of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the chairperson of Azerbaijani Culture Friends Foundation, the President of Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation, the goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO.

Sophie Trudeau is a former television host and is involved in charity work and public speaking with her main focus on women’s issues. She is married to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Sophie first started her career as a receptionist and assistant at an advertising firm and was later promoted to an account manager for advertisement, public relations, and sales.

This was also the time when she won the Face of the Herald contest. Angelica has done various commercial videos for the US as well as for Japan. Angelica was also part of various television shows and movies in which her roles were greatly admired.

Jetsun Pema, Queen Consort of Bhutan

Jetsun Pema is the queen consort of Bhutan. She married Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in 2011. Jetsun did most of her schooling in India and later went to London in order to pursue her post graduation degree. She joined the Regent’s College in London where she graduated in international relations with psychology and art history as minor subjects.

She is an advocate of environmental issues and the Patron of the Royal Society for Protection of Nature. She is also the UNEP Ozone Ambassador.

Rania Al-Abdullah is the queen consort of Jordan and is married to Prince Abdullah. She did her schooling in Jabriya.
