Meet Ari Schultz. Now he is five years old. Before this boy was born, an ultrasound revealed his heart ailments. The unborn baby suffered from critical aortic stenosis and evolving hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Ari went through two successful heart surgeries in his mother’s womb. These operations made him a unique baby in history. But the doctors were not able to cure his illness completely.
So, the little boy still suffered from his cardiac conditions. He spent more than 200 days on the waiting list before learning that the doctors had found him a new heart.
