A woman from Ohio recently posted an inspiring photo on Facebook to explain the surprising act of kindness she had experienced while on her flight.
Natalie Gunderson was on a flight to North Carolina when another passenger on the plane took the time to hand each passenger a $2 bill. The reason behind it will bring a smile to your face!
After everyone received their rare $2 bill, Natalie took a photo of everyone on the flight holding up their bill with smiles on their faces. She later posted the photo on Facebook . “In the midst of all the crap going on in the world, here is some ‘good’ for your Facebook feed,” Natalie wrote along with the photo.

As the flight was nearing its destination at the Raleigh-Durham airport, the man got up from his seat and started to hand each person their $2 bill. The strangers took to the kind gesture quickly and began passing them around, but were confused as to why he had done such a thing.
The man explained to them he wanted to spread love and happiness to honor his dad who started the wave years previous. His father had once handed him a $2 bill when he was 16, and told him that “as long as he kept it, he’d never be broke.”
Remembering what his father did for him, the generous man wanted to brighten every single passengers day. He wanted to share the luck and the love with each one of them!
I think we can all agree it may have been a short flight from Ohio to North Carolina but it’s one the people on board would never forget.
“It didn’t matter our race, sex, religion, etc., we all were just together passing around two dollar bills until each and every person got one,” said Natalie. She added, “The awesome part was everyone just took one, and everyone was looking out for everyone around them, making sure we all got one.”
Natalie said she will never go broke because her $2 bill “lives” in her wallet now.
The man did something he thought was a small gesture to spread love, he did it anonymously because he didn’t want to receive recognition, but his random act of kindness can’t go untold.
Hopefully his good deed will start a ripple effect of kindness between others as well, after all, there is no such thing as too much kindness.
