People say rich guys are greedy. It may be true, but there are exceptions from the rules. And one of such expectations is Bill Gates. Once known as the richest man in the world who now has lost this status. And, apparently, he doesn’t regret it at all!
Getting poorer and poorer doesn’t make this man frustrated. On the contrary, this urges him to keep on. But the most fascinating thing is that he donates the money for charity.
Together with his wife, Melinda, they’ve donated more than $30 billion to their charitable organization. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation helps fight poverty and hunger in the poorest regions of the world. They also invest in education in these countries as well as try to improve it in the United States.
Notably, he lost the status of the richest man in the world to Jeff Bezos, CEO, and founder of Amazon. Everyone guessed this would happen, but no one thought it would be so soon.
The charitable work of Bill Gater speeded it up, but it’s wonderful! If only we had more people like him in the world!
