A man named Larry has been able to show how talented and creative he is by building a beautiful cabin from two steel sea containers.
He made use of the shipping containers as the outside structure. One might think that such a home might look bland, but not this one. This cabin is truly divine.
Larry placed the containers together to form a survival cabin. His genius, plus some impressive decorating ideas, makes it an amazing little self-sustaining home.
The cabin is approximately 640 square feet (59 square meters) of space. The living room alone is 220 square feet.
Wood panelling is used to cover the steel and make the home look more welcoming.

The tiling on the floor also gives the space a more sophisticated feel.
To make the bedroom look more spacious, Larry installed a window on the side. He painted the steel siding so it can blend beautifully with the room.
The second bedroom is less glamourous but beautifully decorated to give it a hunting cabin feel.
The bathroom is also quite charming. Water is heated mostly with solar energy.
A stackable washer and dryer sit in the utility closet.
The pantry is 32 square feet, perfect for long-term survival use. It has been stocked with a lot of non-perishable items
The outside area of the cabin is also quite gorgeous. It truly is an awe-inspiring creation.
