If you grant your company 32 years of hard work, you deserve praise and recognition. Freia David of Needham, Massachusetts, is definitely a nominee for the highest appreciation, as she worked at the French fry station at her local McDonald’s for more than three decades. Not everyone considers McDonald’s a serious work place, but for David it has always been a nice job with a good, honest wage.

David also has Down Syndrome, which means her employment might be a bit challenging, but nonetheless, since 1984, she’s been heading to work every day to provide fries for hungry customers. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of myths about Down Syndrome, but more and more people with this condition are engaged in educating others about it, and David is definitely one of them.

On August 29 of this year, she retired from her position, and McDonald’s organized her a warm send-off at her retirement party. The Needham community also did their fair share of thanking the woman for many years of service.
