Although South Africa might seem like a world away from us, their talent competitions are actually just as entertaining as ours — especially when they deal with iconic stars.
Eagan Feb, from South Africa’s Got Talent, took the stage to stun not only the judges and the audience, but the whole world as well with his spot-on Michael Jackson impersonation.
Clearly, no one could compare to the legend himself: with his talent in dance and song, everyone would’ve lost any competition against the late “King of Pop.”
However, this 21-year-old gives everyone a run for their money. I’m sure some people did a complete double take during his performance.
He chose the song “Billie Jean,” a classic MJ tune that everyone knows and almost everyone loves. Of course, this is exactly why I was worried about his success: how could he stand out when MJ had done such a phenomenal job with the original?
Although he doesn’t sing, the performer tries to replicate many of MJ’s signature moves. The most stunning part, though, is when you see the close-up of his face.
Somehow, this young 21-year-old in South Africa looks eerily similar to the King of Pop himself. This, along with his replicated wardrobe, would surely leave any Michael Jackson fan wanting to see more!
