Pictured above is Kelly and Jesse Cottle, who recently posed in front of camera for the family photo-shoot.

Jesse, the husband, joined the Marine in 2003, and 6 years later, he was working to dismantle an IED during a deployment in Afghanistan.

Suddenly, it went off, resulting Jesse to become a double amputee.

“I was awake the whole time. It was tough and it is tough in general, but I just kind of always had the attitude that it’s really tough now but things will just be okay, and I had my family around me, I had good friends, and basically just my faith really helped me to carry me through,” said Jesse in his interview with the Daily Mail.

In fact, Jesse would not have met his wife Kelly, if he didn’t participate in a swim meet once he got back home.

“I just remember being very intrigued by him,” said Kelly. They instantly fell in love with each other, and got married.

And in this photo shoot with Kelly’s family, photographer Sarah Ledford suggested the whole family to get in the water. As always, Kelly carried Jesse, and Ledford just needed to take a photo of this wonderful moment.

And when Ledford posted the photo on Facebook, everyone was inspired and completely loved the photo.

When they learned about such tremendous support and love from all over the states, Jesse and Kelly remains humble.

“It’s cool because we represent a lot of couple, so it’s just an honor to be able to represent that,” said Kelly.

What an inspiring photo – don’t you think?
