Has your dog ever done something so silly or so strange, you just had to start filming? Well, this owner definitely knows the feeling.
In the video below, posted on November 27, 2017, we see a young dog staring up at a tree. He sits still and doesn’t move a muscle.
He is looking for a squirrel within the highest branches and is far too focused to be distracted by anything — even his owner, who is trying to tell him something very important.
As the adorable dog continues his in-depth search for the squirrel, his owner says, “He’s right there to your left, dum-dum!”
The dog is too busy concentrating on the squirrel’s whereabouts within the tree to notice that the sneaky critter had already made his way down to the ground. If you look closely, you’ll see that the squirrel is peeking out from behind the tree to the left of the dog.
Even as the squirrel fidgets next to the tree trunk, the dog just doesn’t seem to realize that he’s been duped. Will he ever find out?
Either way, I’m so glad the owner caught this all on film. What a silly dog!
