A sick kitten, who is named Kimbo, was found on death’s door in the middle of the road. A woman heard about the young cat’s situation and offered to take him in and nurse him back to health. As it turns out, the infirmed kitty ended up becoming the woman’s guardian angel and helping her through a tough time, just as she did for him.
When the woman first claimed Kimbo, he was in very bad shape and required 24-hour monitoring to survive. The cat’s new owner immediately embarked on her quest to nurse the little guy back to health and Kimbo formed a very quick attachment to his savior. He loves to follow his human around and supervise everything that happens.
What Kimbo’s new owner did not expect was that the recovering cat would proveto be her guardian angel when she needed him most. Soon after Kimbo joined his new clan, the family’s 18-year-old cat, Shania, died and their owner was devastated. Kimbo stepped up and became the woman’s constant companion. He reciprocated all the love and care that she bestowed on him. Thus, they recovered together and were each other’s support system.
Once Kimbo recovered and was deemed healthy, he was introduced to the family’s other cat, Chance, who quickly became a big brother and mentor to Kimbo. The two cats are now thick as thieves and Kimbo is looking forward to spending his first Christmas with his forever family.
