When Taylor retired from military duty, she was ready to go to a home. But as much as handlers want to reunite with their former battle buddies, the process can be extremely costly, making adoption a challenge.
A yellow lab named named Taylor, a.k.a “Tay-Tay” and “Prince Taylor,” served her country in not one, but two deployments. She was so good at her job protecting fellow soldiers that the Taliban had a bounty on her head.
Always by her side was Sgt. Tom Hanson, who protected Taylor and vice versa. She found many bombs hidden near his feet, saving his life in the process.
Retired military dogs who are being put up for adoption are getting a second life alongside the soldiers they served with, all thanks to Molli Oliver.
Molli works as a flight attendant, but her true passion is reuniting military men and women with the dogs they served with. Using her own pocket money, Molli flies military dogs home so that their soldiers can adopt them and give them forever homes. And in the video below, Sgt. Hanson anxiously awaits Taylor’s arrival so he can do exactly that.
Watch the incredible moment Taylor goes running straight into her dad’s arms, all thanks to one selfless woman.
