Stevie Wonder recently went on a “Karaoke Carpool” with The Late Late Show host James Corden. If you don’t know the premise of the segment, basically, James Corden gets a famous singer to ride shotgun with him and the two drive around Los Angeles singing hit after hit as they joke around and tease each other.
I don’t know about you, but driving around Los Angeles in a car while the iconic Stevie Wonder sang his most famous songs right next to you sounds like a pretty good way to spend an afternoon… unreal, in fact.
But the true icing on the cake was when Mr. Wonder picked up the phone and called Mr. Corden’s wife – the reason why being that she didn’t believe her hubby when he told her what he’d be doing that day.
As soon as Mr. Wonder starts serenading Mrs. Corden, James is in tears… it’s got to be one of the sweetest moments in the history of “Karaoke Carpool.”
