Sonny’s family thinks of him as “a tiny bundle of joy,” but now they’re just begging for him to come home.
The Yorkshire terrier escaped from his family home by slipping out of the fence and straight onto a busy road just beyond it.
Thankfully, several passersby stopped to rescue the tiny dog and keep him from running into traffic. One of the people who stopped was a man driving a white car.
The man took Sonny under his wing and said he’d take him to the local Humane Society in Nebraska, where they would hopefully be able to reunite him with his family.
But that’s not what happened. The man drove off, stealing Sonny, and no one has seen or heard from him since.
Sonny is still missing, and his family is understandably desperate to get him home again.
Sonny’s family are doing everything they can, from searching their neighborhood to plastering signs all around town to taking out an ad in their local newspaper. But still, they’ve had no sight of Sonny since he and the strange man vanished.
They say they just want Sonny home — and won’t ask any questions if he’s brought home safely.
