We are willing to bet you have never seen wedding photos quite like these. Erin Reilly (now Goldberg) has always had a fun relationship with her partner. She is a bit of a prankster and decided that their wedding would be no exception.
As most couples do, Erin and Ean planned a «first look» photo but Ean had no idea how much of a surprise it would be.
Erin convinced their photographer, Molly McElenney, to help her prank Ean during the «first look.»
Instead of being all dressed up in her beautiful wedding dress, Ean turned around to find his bride in her favorite oversized cat shirt and old sweatpants!
When talking to PEOPLE, Erin said,
«I mess with him all the time and I thought it was a really good opportunity for me to prank him because I don’t dress up very often […] We had been talking about this dress and how excited he was to see me in the dress […] I was like, all right, I’m really gonna get him. I’m gonna have him turn around and I’m gonna be in my stupid cat shirt!»
At least her hair and makeup were done and Ean reacted in typical style.
The whole thing worked out perfectly and went off without a hitch. McElenney captured some hilarious photos of the moment and Ean’s reaction.
They never thought that this cute moment would go viral but the whole world has fallen in love with this special moment.
The prank perfectly captures the relationship between this couple.
They say that first and foremost they are friends so this was actually the perfect way to start their wedding. From that second on they just enjoyed a fun-filled, laughter-filled day.
Ean told ABC what he had been thinking at the time:
«I was smiling and facing the other way and was antsy, just o excited to turn around and see her. And when I turned around, the first thing I said that went through my mind was basically, ‘I should’ve expected that.»
«When I turned around it was like, ‘Ok, she got me.’ I wasn’t mad at all.»
After the prank was over, Erin got changed into her actual beautiful wedding dress and glowed with happiness. But, it is these unusual photos that have stolen the hearts of so many.
