New technologies can make our lives a lot easier, but they also have disadvantages. In the case of bullying, children are now able to harass other kids online and remain anonymous, which makes the problem that much more difficult to deal with.
The only solution is education — children have to learn how serious this behavior is and how much suffering it can cause.

Rachaele’s encouragement and Betsy’s bravery in standing up against bullying are great examples of how we can put an end to this problem once and for all. The only way to deal with bullying is to start at home by teaching our children to respect others and themselves.
Hopefully more kids will follow Betsy’s example — and more parents will follow Rachaele’s!
