This is the video that has captured the hearts of thousands.

The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters thrilled the crowd at the U.S. Navy Memorial in 2014 as they performed some songs by the Jersey Boys.

It is natural to assume that men and women from the military would be very rigid but this video just shows them in a whole different light. These men happily jive and perform to 1960s hits and honestly, your heart will immediately warm towards them.

In this video, they guys performed such selections as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Rag Doll,” “Let’s Hang On,” and “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night).”

The Sea Chanters, formed in 1956 was organised as a band with the aim of inspiring these military guys. According to the Navy, they work hard to “inspire patriotism, elevate esprit de corps, enhance Navy awareness and public relations, … and project a positive image at home and abroad.”

They have performed opera, choral pieces and even Broadway songs and contemporary music.

The video below was posted in August 2015 and has garnered over 700,000 views since then.

According to the Navy, “Throughout their history, the Sea Chanters have remained true to the Navy’s watchwords of pride and professionalism, and they continue to flourish as a vibrant ensemble.”

We can clearly see all that as we enjoy the video below.
