When Nelson Felippe, from Brazil, posted this photo of two girls on his Facebook page, it literally spread across the whole internet within a couple of days.
We spent some time trying to work out what exactly was going on, but the answer turned out to be highly unexpected.
This photo recently went viral. It’s author gave it an intriguing caption…
’I’m not prejudiced. I get that everyone’s free to live how they want. But I just had to watch this scene unfold.’
’What people do when they’re alone is their own business. But if they’re in a public place, then it affects me, too. I refuse to look at it and pretend that it’s OK.’
’People like this are challenging our society, and that’s dangerous. What if something bad happens, or worse, someone gets killed. Whose fault is it then?’
’…Why do people teach their kids to do this? They’ll end up thinking it’s fine to wait for the train right on the edge of the platform! So don’t do what this guy did…
…stand a safe distance from the edge and embrace each other instead.’
