It comes as no surprise that bears are intelligent, inquisitive creatures. They’re also no strangers to shocking activity. You need only watch a video of a bear doing something like scratching their back on a tree or even one of a bear “breaking” into someone’s home to know that their curiosity sometimes leads them to unexpected situations.
In the video below, another curious bear found himself in a remarkable scenario.
Two young men were driving along the road on the way to a hike when they spotted a wandering bear. The bear had ended up on the busy road, and the buddies stopped their car, giving way to the animal.
But the bear had no plans to leave the road quickly. Instead, his curiosity got the better of him.
The young men could only watch (and record) in awe as the bear casually strolled over to another car, a white one whose inhabitants stopped to let him pass.
Instead, the bear went straight for the driver’s side of the car.
The helpless couple inside watched as the bear tried to open the door!
First, he used his mouth to pull on the handle, then he got on his hind legs to use his paws!
