bez-imeni-1

That was simple time! We all were happy, friendly! We smiled and laughed! When I listen to it I always remember it! This song is perfect! And that little girl turned out to be a MEGA star!

On Tuesday evening (Nov. 2) Dolly Parton will be honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award during the 50th annual CMA Awards. Parton certainly deserves the high honor. She is one of the most successful artists in country music history.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards, Parton shared the first song she ever recorded with her fans and followers on Facebook. “In many ways, ‘Puppy Love’ was the start of this whole journey,” wrote Parton in her Facebook post.

Through a partnership with the Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yep Roc Records, Dolly Parton’s first single, “Puppy Love”—recorded when she was 13 years old—will be re-mastered from the original mono master tape and available for sale as a 45-RPM with a B-side of “Girl Left Alone” on April 22. Subsequent releases will be available on compact disc, vinyl and from digital providers.

First Dane earliest photos of her I have ever seen….cute song and you can tell that’s unique voice, amazing she is so talented! Though Dolly Parton is a country music legend, she has never forgotten her humble beginnings. She’s been involved in charitable efforts such as her hometown of Sevierville, Tennessee, her damaged Dollywood theme park, and her Imagination Library. Dolly Parton got her start in music when she was just 13 years old.

When she was discovered, she was asked to record a song for the first time. She wrote the song, alongside her Uncle Bill Owens, which was appropriate for a girl of her age. On the track, Dolly innocently sang about her crush that she holds near and dear to her heart.

The song was released on Goldband Records in 1959. On Wednesday night (Nov. 2), Dolly Parton will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the Country Music Awards. To celebrate being named as a recipient, Parton shared the song with her followers. She revealed that this very track “was the start of this whole journey.”
