23 DIYs That’ll Make You Wish It Was October 31st Already

bez-imeni-1

Now that September is officially underway, many people (like myself) are in full-blown Halloween mode. Even though it’s well over a month away, as soon as I feel a cool fall breeze and sip my first PSL, I can’t be stopped.

If you’re like me, and you become a Halloween fanatic when a single orange leaf appears on the tree in your front yard, you’re going to love the list of DIYs below.

1. Light Bulb Spiders

My front door is covered in magnetic spiders this time of year, which gives a lot of people the heebie jeebies, but I think they’re cute — and so are these light bulb versions!

Imagine what guests will think when they walk up to your front door only to be greeted by this guy! And all it takes to make it happen are a few grass skirts, an old hat, and some seriously cool shades.

Fake vampire teeth may not be very flattering or comfortable to wear — drool alert — but they certainly do the trick when it comes to creating the perfect Halloween table setting.

4. Bloody Candles

Who knew melting a red candle onto a white one could be so gruesome? And the nail and needle accents make the whole thing even creepier! I don’t know about you, but I’m having some serious Hellraiser flashbacks.

5. Skeleton Hands Wreath

«Hands, touching hands. Reaching out, touching me, touching you!» Is it weird that song is the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this DIY? It’s fitting though, isn’t it?

Even the biggest candy apple fan would be hesitant to take a bite out of one of these suspicious-looking treats. But in this case, the risk would be worth the reward.

The least scary materials — ping pong balls, googly eyes, and a wreath form — create an über-creepy wreath that is perfect for your front door. Trick-or-treaters will definitely know you’re keeping an eye on them.
