It is hard for people to admit they did something wrong, but at times, we get surprised at what some people would do to make up for their mistake.
A stranger parked the car in a residential area with assigned parking lots.When the owner saw that her parking space had been taken, instead of having the car ticketed and towed, she decided to leave a note and park elsewhere.
Hey stranger, because you were parked in my spot last night (and still are??), I got a ticket for street parking overnight w/out a permit. I’m broke. These are privately owned spots and I could have you ticketed + towed. I won’t, but please don’t park in my spot again.
She left the note not thinking much about it and expecting anything in return, but she was wrong. The next morning, she found a letter of apology on her windshield and $100 with it.
First I would like to apologize for parking in your spot,” the reply said. “It was irresponsible on my part and I would like to give this to you to pay for the ticket and whatever else you need. It can be tough around this time of year. Merry Christmas.
