Bryson Williams, 15, went to visit his grandparents’ home in Litchfield Park, Arizona, just like he’s been doing for the past 12 years. But this time, he arrived to find a new sign hanging in their front yard — and what it said completely broke his heart.
Bryson and his brother have been visiting from Massachusetts ever since he can remember. It’s the very home where he and his family have created countless memories, from Christmas dinners to preparing meals for needy children.
Bryson’s grandparents moved into the house in 2003. In 2005, they lost everything to an electrical fire and had to completely rebuild it from scratch. Then, Bryson’s great-grandfather moved in and his grandparents became his full-time caretakers.
Recently, Bryson’s grandfather underwent knee replacement surgery and had to stop working. Without his income, the elderly couple can no longer afford to live there.
But instead of standing by and letting the cherished home slip away, this incredible teenager devised a plan. Now, his effort is going viral.
