All Mike wanted was to save a poor little gosling who was struggling in the middle of the lake from getting killed by passing boats. What he got instead is friend for life and the most unusual pet ever. Her name is Kyle and she’s a 10 pound Canadian goose.
Mike figured he’d help a little baby get stronger and she’d eventually leave and join her real family, but that never happened. Kyle seems to have fallen in love with her rescuer and nowadays the two can be seen spending time together at Lake Oswego, Oregon, Mike in his boat and his goose always by his side.
