We’re used to hearing about Hollywood couples breaking up — or “consciously uncoupling” — on what feels like a daily basis. However, there are plenty of famous pairs out there who have stood the test of time.
Each of the romantic twosomes below have spent decades together despite the hurdles that can come with working in the entertainment industry. It’s inspiring to see them together and know that true love really can overcome all the bumps in the road.

The Oscar-winner married the sculptor back in 1978. They have four children together, one son and three daughters.

The funny couple found romance while attending college at Northwestern and performing together in a theater group. The classmates got married in 1987.

The couple met while performing together in Lemon Sky, a play adapted for PBS that aired in 1988. They didn’t waste time getting married that same year.
