In November, Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato revealed that their 3-year-old son, Noah, was diagnosed with liver cancer.
The singer put his career on hold to care for him and his family during the trying time.
Over the past few months, the family has been mostly quiet about the little boy’s diagnosis and treatment, but fans all over the world used the internet to send them well-wishes. Even actress Shannen Doherty sent them a message of support after she heard the news, as she too was undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
But now, over five months after Noah’s diagnosis was revealed, Luisana is finally breaking her silence. She gave an update on her son’s health during a press conference: he’s doing well after his treatment, but still has a long road to recovery.
According to The Daily Express, she said in Spanish: “My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know, and he has to continue with checkups. But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.”
She added: “Thank God my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. Now, I value life much more, the now and the today.”
Hopefully, it’s only a matter of time before the famous family can confirm that little Noah is in full remission, and totally cancer-free!
