It’s Cannes season, which means all your favorite celebrities are probably on a boat in the French Riviera right now. The film festival is not only the place to celebrate the best cinema the world has to offer—it’s also a glamorous red carpet event. That’s right, fashion police fans, that means we get to ogle at some dazzling gowns worn by a bunch of beautiful people.
Everyone brings their fashion A-Game to Cannes. And who wouldn’t? The sun is shining, the champagne is flowing, and you’re one of the first to see movies that could go on to win an Oscar. Also, it’s France, where being fashionable is part of the landscape.
One person whose style we’ve been following closely on the red carpet events at Cannes is Pamela Anderson. The Canadian actress has been serving some pretty breathtaking looks since she landed in France, and people are taking some serious notes.
Take a look at Pamela Anderson at the Cannes Film Festival, who looks better (and more unrecognizable) than ever.
The 49-year-old brunette-turned-blonde-bombshell walked the red carpet over the weekend.
Wearing a beautiful black gown, earrings and slicked-back hair, the actress was on her way to attend the premiere of 120 Beats Per Minute.
She went for a minimal amount of makeup, and we can see why. Her complexion is clear and youthful and we can’t help but be jealous.
This isn’t the only look Pamela surprised us with. She continued to attend many galas and events on Monday and Tuesday, where she shone as brightly as she did on the weekend red carpet.
The former Playboy model joined Paris Hilton at the De Grisogono Love On The Rocks party. The celebration was held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
Pamela brought her refreshing bare-faced look once again, this time while wearing white. She wore a sequined floor-length gown with an open neckline.
It’s pretty obvious that Pamela has barely changed since her days as CJ Parker in the 1990s hit television show, Baywatch.
Pamela’s breakthrough role, offered to her by David Hasselhoff himself, propelled her into fame and helped her establish herself as a beauty and glamor icon in American pop culture.
It seems that Pamela is only getting started with her fashionable Cannes tour. Earlier this week, she also attended the Harmonist Gala Event at Club Albane.
She showed up wearing a floor-length white gown, proving a few things: white is her best color and she hardly needs any over-the-top makeup or jewelry to accentuate her beauty.
The event also saw some royalty in attendance including Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and the Duchess of Castro.
Pamela has definitely been hitting the boat parties. Earlier, she posted a throwback picture of herself on Instagram captioned “See you on Côte d’Azur.»
We’re all familiar with Pamela Anderson’s trajectory to fame. Growing up, we were all exposed to her TV career, her modeling career, her many highly publicized Playboy covers and her many love affairs, just to name a few things.
She’s also a very vocal and dedicated activist for animal rights. She’s been one of PETA’s most famous spokespersons. She’s also openly campaigned for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
Pamela is no stranger to art film performances and film festival darlings. In 2016, she starred in Nadia Litz’s The People Garden, which screened at Cannes that year.
Currently, she’s set to make a cameo appearance in the Baywatch remake starring Dwayne Johnson. She’ll also appear in The Institute, starring James Franco.
