‘The Price is Right’ game show has been around since 1956, undergoing a few revisions to keep it trendy. Current host Drew Carey has been with the program since 2007, replacing original host Bob Barker. Things can get wild and crazy on this show where contestants compete against one another to win cash and prizes by guessing the price of merchandise. There are worldly vacations, motorcycles, sports cars and more for people to win — no wonder it’s been a fan-favorite for decades!
During a taping of ‘The Price is Right,’ things got out of control when model Manuela Arbelaez of Columbia made one HUGE mistake. A contestant was guessing the price of a new car, but her guess of $19,849 was incorrect, which was revealed when Manuela pulled the price tag away to show the price. But then Manuela, who has been on the show for six years, went ahead and pulled the next price tag before the contestant could guess again… Whoops!
Realizing her drastic mistake, Manuela tried to quickly cover it up, but the contestant started shouting about how she won it! Drew good-naturedly said «Congratulations, Manuela just gave you a car.» Manuela was mortified by her mistake — and was afraid that she would lose her job and have to pay for the car herself.
