Restaurant Feeds 1,000 Hurricane Victims, But No One Notices All The Good They Do

When a disaster comes, it’s important for all people to stay together and help each other in all possible ways. Of course, it was expected that the people who were fleeing from Hurricane Harvey in search of help and shelter would get everything they need in the nearby areas. But little did we know the help would be so sincere and selfless.

People proved they were ready to give a helping hand to those who really needed it, and demanded nothing in return, as we all can imagine how devastated and terrified people are after what they’ve experienced.

Nature proved to be not merciful at all, it crushed all the hopes and dreams people had when living in their towns.

It was totally understandable that others would help as these men, Phe Nguyen and Binh Nguyen, the owners of Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge in Port Arthur, Texas, did.

They showed they were humans and wanted to sympathize with the hurricane victims by at least providing them with some delicious food they made.

The restaurant was working tirelessly to feed over 1,000 people. Of course, they didn’t expect anything in return, and there wasn’t even a glimpse of disappointment in their eyes when no media paid attention to what they did.

However, the son of one of Phe Nguyen employees, Keith, thought the restaurant workers deserved at least some recognition, and wrote a touching post on Facebook.

‪My dad and uncle Binh own a restaurant in Southeast Texas and they were also effected by Harvey but the media doesn't…

No one expected it would go viral, and that is to say nothing. It’s been two weeks since it was published, and so far, it has gathered over 545k likes and over 444k shares.

People couldn’t stop thanking the team for what they did to those who badly needed their help.
