The human body is quite strange. It frequently surprises us, and often it’s a big surprise. At least that was the case for this New Jersey mother who gave birth to twins… who looked very different. A dark-skinned girl with curly hair; and a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy with straight hair.
The mom was convinced that the father was her lover and thought about divorcing from her current husband. Around the time of the divorce, in the middle of legal battles to decide custody and alimony, a DNA test was carried out and they received a big surprise. The boy’s father was her husband, while the girl’s father was her lover… the twins had different fathers!
Although very rare, it’s possible for the mother to have two ovulations which are each fertilized at the same time. This woman was intimate with her husband and, days later, with her lover as well… And yes, these babies are a miracle and medical anomaly. And they’re also part of a very strange family.
