Wife Thinks She’s Just Menopausal. After Husband Says Her Body Feels ‘Weird,’ She Gives Birth

bez-imeni-1

Judy Brown and her husband, Jason Brown, just assumed it was menopause. After all, she was 47 years old and was slowly gaining a few pounds here and there, as expected, back in 2015.

However, Jason did notice that something was a bit off. Her body didn’t feel the way it was supposed to.

“This isn’t like regularly gaining weight. When you gain weight it’s normally flab and soft; it was hard. We just thought it was kinda weird, but we didn’t think anything of it,” Jason told Inside Edition.

Then all of a sudden she had severe abdominal pain. Judy thought she must have had a gallstone or blockage in her body, but the doctor told her it was… good news.

“‘It’s good news: there’s no blockage. You are pregnant and you are going to have her now!’” Judy recalled of the moment.

The couple had been married for 22 years and had never had children. Judy was now a first-time mother an hour after she found out she was pregnant.

“It was a little bit scary getting into the hospital thinking something really bad was going on,” Judy told ABC News. “To understand and take in that was I pregnant and was about to go into labor … it was very overwhelming.”

However, the little one was a welcome addition. The couple always had a laid-back approach to having children. They figured, if it happens, it happens. Now, it finally has!
