In the parenting world, you may often hear complaints from one parent saying the other is not supportive enough.
Maybe they differ on who should have what responsibilities or one just lives a much busier life based on work, but either way, things can often fall more heavily on one parent when it comes to the baby.
In the animal world, especially the cat world, it is pretty rare for Dad to be involved on the day of birth.
Any cat owner who has witnessed their pet give birth, the daddy cat is often nowhere to be found. If he is in the house, he may saunter by to see what all the commotion is about, but he can’t be bothered to stay.
Well, that isn’t the case for this sweet cat! He truly gives meaning to being a daddy cat! It appears he was ready to go from the moment Mom went into labor, and he was her support system all day.
This supportive cat daddy reminds me of a dog that adopted a mama cat and her babies after she surprised everyone in the middle of the night by delivering her kittens.
Imgur user callpeta shared a photo series of a daddy cat being supportive on the day his kittens were born. Sadly, no cat names were involved, but I think it’s safe to say we can call him Daddy! 
In the pictures, it looks like Daddy is a little stressed at first, but then he heads over to Mom to give her a little kiss. 
Dad is right by Mom’s side as she delivers their four little babies. Afterward, Mom, Dad, and the babies all share a cuddle!
As you can see, this family is full of color! Daddy cat is an orange tabby, while Mom is a calico, and it looks like their children are the same mix.
If you did not know, calico cats are almost always girls, and orange cats are typically always boys!
Mom isn’t the only one who cuddled alone with the babies. Dad took one baby and pulled it close! How sweet is this daddy cat?
After all that, I am sure Mom and Dad are exhausted! Hopefully, they got a long nap and snuggled with their babies.
