A biography about Camilla Parker, the current wife of Prince Charles, reveals that there was a luxurious bracelet which Charles sent to Camilla a few days before marrying Diana.
In 1981, Diana found said bracelet and it caused an argument between her and the future father of her children. Although the Prince assured her that there was no other woman, Diana argued with him about it.
But in fact, the bracelet was for Camilla. It had the letters “G” and “F” inscribed, referring to “Gladys” and “Fred”, the pet names Charles and Camilla had for each other to keep things secret.
This was a great disappointment to the dear Princess who was only 19-years-old and nervous about fulfilling such an important role. Prince Charles and Camilla are now married.
